The 45-year-old man accused of having a sorting center for counterfeit watches (1300 pieces) in his home in Olbia is in a hurry to be questioned by the prosecutor of Tempio, Alessandro Bosco.

A big problem for the suspect, as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Bulgari, Omega, Hublot and Audemars Piguet chronographs were found and seized in his home by the Guardia di Finanza. According to rumours, they were destined for the beaches of the Costa Smeralda for the final part of the season.

The price is around 700 euros per piece , and the companies owning the counterfeit brands are working (with lawyers and consultants) to verify the origin of the watches seized in Olbia and take legal action.

The suspect, a man from Olbia, has already spoken to the prosecutor through his defense attorney, criminal lawyer Antonello Desini. The lawyer explains: "My client denies all charges because the warehouse where the discovery was made, owned by a relative of his, was available to and therefore used by a non-EU citizen, the owner of the jars and boxes in which the watches were hidden."

And now a new investigation begins that could be extended to other people.
