Stintino has inaugurated the large and evocative nativity scene with one hundred statues. Since 2008, thanks to the project of the cultural association Il Tempo della Memoria, in collaboration with the Stintino Municipality and thanks to the generous donations of many Stintino businesses and families, Stintino has transformed into the Bethlehem of Europe. The life-size nativity scene celebrates the Nativity through ancient traditions, old crafts, local and international materials, and a rich variety of cultures and eras.

The over 100 life-size statues, made by artisans of different nationalities, tell universal stories of everyday life and traditions. Their production is the result of a real cultural exchange between peoples, with works commissioned to international artisans who have given the nativity scene a unique and multicultural character.

The nativity scene winds along the entire old port, creating a suggestive and engaging itinerary. From the Minori port the nativity scene extends to the small square "Porto Museo delle Vele Latine" where the statues representing the Nativity are exhibited.
