There will no longer be street vendors on the seaside slopes towards La Pelosa. This was decided by the mayor of Stintino, Rita Vallebella, who issued the ordinance prohibiting itinerant sales in public passage areas that allow access to the sea and that connect via Moratti with viale "La Pelosa".
A measure taken in compliance with the Disciplinary Regulations for the use of state-owned maritime areas, the coast and the areas included in the territory of the Municipality of Stintino in the compendium of the splendid closed-numbered beach, where the rule of the ban on street trading already applies.
The presence of itinerant vendors in the narrow streets leading to the beach impedes the correct flow of people towards the sea, furthermore the presence of human excrement with the abandonment of waste near the itinerant stations has been ascertained. The fines imposed vary from 2,500 to 15 thousand euros. Surveillance checks will be increased to avoid situations of deterioration, particularly in the summer period.
