The commitment of the municipal administration of Stintino in the campaign of environmental protection and decorum of the territory continues. Twenty volunteers participated in the national event "Sea & Rivers" with an important cleanup action coordinated by the local representative of Plastic Free, Maria Luisa Vallebella, to clean up the area of via Valle della Luna, under the Torre di Capo Falcone, collecting 250 kilos of waste of all kinds. Among the objects recovered: a plastic table, engine parts, fences, and even stolen backpacks with documents, promptly delivered to the municipal police. The volunteers also removed several bottles, pieces of iron and paint cans.
The mobilization has allowed to highlight not only the importance of decorum and environmental protection, but also the crucial role that the community plays in safeguarding the territory. The initiative has drawn attention to the need to take care of the beaches of Stintino and natural spaces, underlining how every civil gesture and common sense can contribute and keep the environment clean and healthy.
