The initiatives of Plastic Free , the association committed to environmental protection, continue in Stintino. On Saturday 30 December, 15 volunteers collected around 250 kilos of waste in the town of Coscia di Donna , on the Stintino coast.

Armed with bags and gloves and with a lot of will, they walked the beaches and the areas behind them to collect materials abandoned by uncivilized people.

A growing phenomenon, that of illegal landfills and the indiscriminate abandonment of waste, which the administration led by Rita Vallebella intends to combat. It not only means restoring decorum and dignity to the area, but it offers a more refined image of the landscape to the many tourists who frequent Stintino and appreciate its natural beauty and splendid beaches.

For some time now, Plastic Free volunteers have been working to achieve the goal of raising awareness among the population about respecting their territory.

In one year the association has set up over ten cleaning and decoration initiatives.
