Steal a drill from Assemini: woman in handcuffs

On charges of aggravated theft, an unemployed 40-year-old from Assemini was arrested by the carabinieri of Sestu.

The woman, inside the Bricoman shopping center, had stolen a drill worth 258 euros, hiding it in her bag and passing the cash desks without paying. The security staff, however, blocked it at the exit, warning the military.

The stolen goods were recovered and the 40-year-old put under house arrest pending the validation hearing.
