State blitz for wind power on the Carloforte sea
Among the members of the ministerial "platoon" there are many "fans" of marine wind turbines. War between Eni and EnelPer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
They got lost or disappeared. They certainly didn't like that that inspection visit, planned without even the grace of the slightest notice, ended up on the front page. They would have appreciated silence and confidentiality for a mission that had to remain secret. This was not the case. That peremptory paper written in the ministerial rooms, which ended up in our hands, could only reveal a plan that Rome is implementing with a real "firing squad" sent to Sardinia to give the green light to the most nefarious destructive plan ever put in place. in the field on the Sardinian sea: the offshore wind farm of «Ichnusa Wind srl», with 42 wind turbines for over 500 megawatts of power.
They don't care
Not caring about the Region, Municipalities, committees and populations, the "envoys" of Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, the Minister of the wind and photovoltaic invasion of the Island, a worthy substitute for the team of Draghi and his companions in the Dicastery of the phantom ecological transition, wasted no time . Since the President of the Region, last June 7, signed that wicked pact with the State for the wind invasion of Sardinia, with the acceptance of a minimum quota of 6,200 megawatts, more than triple that due to the Island, and the deduction from that minimum of 100% for offshore plants, the Ministry has set in motion to hurl the first of the most devastating offshore wind projects onto the coasts of Sulcis, that of none other than Eni, the most oil-rich of the entities of State.
The “sanpietrini” knew
In Rome, even the "sanpietrini" of Palazzo Chigi knew that the first master key for "disrupting" the Sardinian sea would fall to the most powerful of State bodies. An operation built in every detail with the dexterity of those who are used to playing under the radar, skilled in betting on a few but authoritative tables, capable like no one of imposing their will on every political party. In Cagliari, in the rooms of Viale Trento, only the unwary ignored him. Everyone else knew perfectly well that that consent to offshore, complete with relief passed off as a victory, was not only a good and beautiful gift for the state oil potentates, but represented the beginning of the end for the Sardinian sea. Not even a week has passed since the publication of the elusive "decree on suitable areas" which Rome anticipated all the time, with the clear aim of scoring a "coup" in the summer by taking advantage of the collective umbrella. To do so, he sent seven "envoys" of the Pnrr-Pniec Technical Commission to the island-colony, led by a contact Commissioner, engineer Roberto Bardari, with a task as unknown as it was improvised, given the communications we publish on this page . Missives that belong more to a secret "mission" than to a transparent evaluation of a project as delicate as it is devastating for that stretch of sea between Carloforte and Portovesme, Nebida and Masua. Just read them, the notes sent from Rome to the Sardinian region: no notice, no meeting calendar, no timetable, not even a shred of agenda. State officials accustomed to not knocking, inclined to open the door of other people's homes with their tiptoes rather than with the touch of their guests. And so it was: the only appointment was for July 4th at 11.00 am at the headquarters of the Port Authority, the state annex in Sardinia. The Region puts Rome's slap in the face in the letter it sends to the Mayors, a few hours before the phantom inspection: «We also inform you that at the moment the methods for carrying out the inspection itself are not known to this General Directorate. , which will be provided promptly as soon as acquired" . In other words, we know nothing about what they will come to do, nor where, nor when. In short, a sort of clandestine dress rehearsal of the wind colonization of the Sardinian sea. One thing is certain: in the Palaces of Power they are in a hurry. For two reasons, above all. The first: the Pnrr is about to run out and the Government wants to commit maximum resources. The second: soon there will be the first "tender" for the assignment of billions in offshore incentives. Eni, with its high-ranking team, including Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and the foreign funds of «Copenhagen Infrastructure», does not want to arrive outside the deadline. For this reason they sent a real group of offshore "fans" to Sardinia, all members of the Commission, starting from the relevant Commissioner. Subjects who do not disdain, even publicly, starting from their social networks, to rejoice for the approval of the first Italian offshore wind project, the one on the Sicilian coasts. "Southern curve" behavior of offshore wind on the part of men with public positions who would do well to abstain from dramatic "celebrations" on projects which are still of a private nature and never far from financial and energy speculation.
Run away
Having "escaped" from any confrontation, having avoided any contact with the municipal administrations, having attempted to pass off this inspection as a fleeting time card to be stamped, explicitly demonstrates the desire to bring home the result without wasting too much time. Moreover, it would be foolish to think that this operation is the result of the outskirts of politics. The subjects in the field are explicit, they are the most powerful and they enter the halls of power via red carpets. Imagine if someone raises the problem of safeguarding the "bluefin tuna" route of Carloforte, the centuries-old history of fishing in this area, the navigability of that stretch of sea, or even worse the skyline of the marine horizon which would be disfigured forever by 42 gigantic wind turbines almost 300 meters high visible from every corner of the coast. An unprecedented landscape devastation, a lethal blow for the tourist hopes of this geographical area which has always been torn apart by the greed of Eni, capable of exploiting the deepest bowels beyond belief and at the same time irreversibly polluting every surface of the earth.
Touch and run
The commissioners of Rome, therefore, had no time to waste. They limited themselves to leaving on record a "hit and run" inspection, a few anonymous hours in Sardinia to justify the opinion that the Roman leaders have already written. Moreover, seeing some commissioners "triumph" at the news of the approval of the Sicilian project of «7Seas Med», the smaller sister of «Ichnusa Wind srl», suggests that the history of this Sardinian project is also marked. The interlocutors are exactly the same: with the difference that the Sicilian project, with 20 blades and 250 megawatts of power, is less than half of the Sardinian one. All obvious similarities: the Sicilian project «7 Seas Med», like the one to be placed in the sea of Carloforte, was presented by “GreenIT”, the Italian joint venture for renewable energy between “Plenitude” Eni and “CDP Equity” and “ Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners”. In the cards of this project, however, there are infinite obstacles hidden, starting from the unanimous opposition of all the local communities, including the Mayors who have long been openly aligned against this disastrous environmental, landscape, economic and strategic upheaval of the Sulcis Iglesiente. In the dossier , then, there is no shortage of "business wars" between giants, interests yet to be discovered and even "air-to-air missiles".
