Tomorrow afternoon Oristano will say goodbye to Chiara Carta , the 13-year-old girl killed by her mother in Silì on Saturday afternoon.

The funeral will be celebrated at 3 pm in the church of the hamlet by Archbishop Roberto Carboni.

Yesterday the coroner Roberto Demontis carried out an autopsy on the girl 's body, hit by 30 blows inflicted with a switchblade knife that reached vital organs . Chiara died of a haemorrhage . The mother, Monica Vinci , 52, after hitting her, threw herself from the window on the first floor of the family home. She suffered various injuries, is now out of danger but remains sedated in the psychiatry department of the San Martino hospital. For her, the charge of voluntary homicide will be triggered.

This evening the classmates of the 13-year-old, the teachers and the director of the comprehensive institute 1 of Oristano will meet at 21 in front of the school in Piazza Manno: they will have a candle in their hand, in memory of the student.

And a black cloth will be placed on the facade of the building as a sign of mourning. The Maurizio Carta choir and the Eleonora d'Arborea Polyphonic Ethnic Choir from Oristano will also participate. "Everyone will be able to bring a candle or a small light to light up the square and signal to Chiara the proximity of the community", reads the note released by the school.
