An entire territory between Nuoro and Oristano has been without a sports doctor for years, not even one in a temporary agreement. It so happens that the members, many very young, of thirteen clubs from Sorgono, Tonara, Belvi, Austis, Teti Desulo, Meana Sardo, Ortueri, Ovodda, Allai, Busachi and Samugheo, are forced to travel to obtain the indispensable certificate.
It's not just about inconvenience but also about costs, given that many had to reach Sassari or Cagliari to obtain the essential documentation to be able to participate in the championships. At stake, however, is not only access to the various competitions, but also the guarantee of having a state of health suitable for physical activity. Unfortunately there has been no shortage of tragedies on fields and gyms in recent years.
The protest of the clubs with banners posted in fields and gyms, to ask for the reactivation of the public sports medicine service. The same one that existed at the Sorgono hospital until a few years ago.
