Educational activities on environmental and sustainability issues for schools, tourist information, cultural and recreational initiatives, promotion of food and wine and food products. These are the innovations that Legambiente intends to introduce in the new management of the Ceas di Sorso , the Environmental and Sustainability Education Center located in the special conservation area called "Stagno e ginepreto di Platamona".

The goal is to redevelop the area of over three kilometers of path, a paradise surrounded by juniper trees and birdwatching , with activities that stimulate users to conceive the area as a reference point for the territory.

At the inauguration of the center entrusted to Legambiente "L'olivastro" many actors involved: from the Municipality of Sorso, represented by the mayor Fabrizio Demelas, to the Municipality of Sassari with the Councilor for the Environment Antonello Sassu, the Asinara Park, with the director Vittorio Gazale and Forestas with the provincial director Gian Marco Saba.

"Ceas will act as an environmental education center, but in synergy with all those who have the same development of projects and initiatives at heart - said Michele Meloni, president of Legambiente L'Olivastro - because we want it to be a meeting place, listening and a cultural center that can enhance the excellence of the territory ".

For Maria Carmela Caria , Ceas director, “the aim will be to educate the visitor on the sustainable use of the resource, to be maintained and protected”. Also present were representatives of AGT and student associations of the University of Sassari, schools and civil and military authorities.
