Sorso, collision between two cars: two injured in hospital, a lamppost destroyed

Bad accident in Sorso in the afternoon. Two cars, a Panda and a Golf, collided - for reasons still being investigated - in viale Porto Torres at the intersection with via Cambosu. A powerful impact, which destroyed the small car that ended up against the sidewalk and a light pole that fell to the ground.

The emergency services and the fire brigade arrived on site to extract the man who appeared to be trapped in the passenger compartment but, in the end, he managed to get out of his car on his own .

According to initial information , there were no serious consequences for the two drivers , who were taken with yellow code to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata hospital.
