Siurgus Donigala, shots fired at the home of a young man under house arrest for robbery: an acquaintance was injured.

Serious intimidating attack last night in Siurgus Donigala.

At around 2:00 a.m., unknown individuals fired several shots at the front door of a home in the center of Siurgus Donigala. This home is home to a 35-year-old local man, currently under house arrest for a criminal case related to a joint robbery dating back to last April.

At the time of the incident, the man was not inside the home, but outside with an acquaintance. The acquaintance suffered a minor abrasion to his arm , likely caused by shrapnel thrown up by the impact of the bullets, and was taken to Brotzu Hospital for treatment .

The Carabinieri of the Operational Unit of the Dolianova Company, with territorial jurisdiction, intervened on site and carried out technical surveys and started investigations aimed at precisely reconstructing the dynamics of the events and tracing the perpetrators of the serious act.

The investigation continues with the utmost care, as part of the Carabinieri's ongoing commitment to combating all forms of violence and ensuring the safety of local communities. The investigation is focusing on analyzing the evidence gathered on site and any possible connections to the criminal record of the man involved.
