Simaxis, 28 year old shot in the legs: two arrests
The young man had been the victim of an ambush. The two face charges of, among others, robbery, injury and possession and dealing of drugs

Two arrests for the gunshot attack against Davide Desogus , a 28-year-old from Simaxis .
The carabinieri had immediately followed the drug trail and after five months, at the request of prosecutor Sara Ghiani, judge Federica Fulgheri ordered the custody in prison of Francesco Nicolò Mascia, 27 years old from Uras and Stefano Corrias (37) from Villanova Tulo.
According to what was reconstructed by the Oristano carabinieri, Corrias together with another accomplice (not yet identified) had an appointment with Desogus (assisted by the lawyer Carlo Pau) on 19 December to purchase two kilos of cocaine. Once they arrived at the meeting place, a small suburban street, Mascia (defended by the lawyer Roberto Zanda) who had remained hidden until then, approached, pointing his rifle at Desogus, while the others ordered him to hand over the drugs. But the 28-year-old from Simaxis did not agree to the request, instead he threw the bag with the drugs into a canal and at that point the gunshot was fired. Before fleeing, the three managed to take away a kilo of drugs, while Desogus was rescued by a friend and then taken to the hospital.
After careful investigations, the Carabinieri reconstructed the episode and closed the circle against Mascia and Corrias, who ended up in cell . They are accused of robbery, injury, possession and dealing of drugs and carrying a rifle in a public place.
