Siligo, attempts to defraud two elderly people with counterfeit goods: 68 kitchen knives on him

He tries to defraud two elderly people by offering to sell counterfeit goods , but is stopped by the police.

The Carabinieri have reported a man in the urban centre of Siligo , believed to be responsible for receiving stolen goods, attempted fraud and trading in products with false markings.

The report to the military came from some citizens who provided the description of the man, intercepted after a few minutes by the carabinieri while he was leaving the town on board his car. Once stopped, he was subjected to a check and during the inspection the military found 68 kitchen knives and other objects, all goods with a counterfeit brand , belonging to a well-known company in the sector, but not compliant with the European Community (CE) brand, whose total value was estimated at 700 euros.

The material found was seized while the man was reported to the judicial authorities .
