There is a question from Roberto Deriu (Pd) in the regional council on the story linked to the railway accident that took place on Wednesday afternoon , and on the case of dangerous pedestrian crossings in Silanus.

"For several years the community of Silanus has been requesting the safety of two railway crossings, in via Milano and in Sa Roda, which are regulated by acoustic and traffic light systems that endanger the safety of motorists and pedestrians - he writes among other things Deriu - I ask the regional councilor for transport what measure he intends to put in place to solve this age-old problem once and for all".

Deriu then adds: "It is necessary to act urgently, so as to guarantee maximum safety for all motorists and pedestrians who pass daily in the pedestrian crossings of Silanus". According to Roberto Deriu, both crossings should be regulated with the positioning of automatic barriers, which would have prevented the occurrence of the accidents that have occurred so far, including the one a few days ago, which only fortunately did not have tragic consequences.
