The trial on the Conca Entosa crime will open next Tuesday in Sassari, before the Assize Court .

Emanuele Ragnedda , 42, from Arzachena, is being summoned to appear before the courts to answer to the charges of voluntary homicide aggravated by cruelty, vile motives, and torture, concealment of a corpse, slander, and cocaine distribution . Prosecutor Noemi Mancini accuses the Arzachena businessman of killing Cinzia Pinna with three gunshots . The events date back to September 12, 2025, and occurred at Conca Entosa, Ragnedda's estate (known for producing the world's most expensive Vermentino) in the Palau countryside.

The witness lists of the parties have already been filed and, according to rumors, contain elements that shed new light on some circumstances surrounding the crime. For example, the alleged misdirection attributed to Emanuele Ragnedda during the search for Cinzia Pinna, who was reported missing but was actually already murdered .

According to rumors, the civil party's lawyers, Antonella and Nino Cuccureddu, have identified among the witnesses the very people Ragnedda spoke to when Cinzia Pinna was being searched for across the island (from September 12, 2025, until the suspect's "confession"). The woman had already been killed, and the businessman had apparently "misled" the search.

Another factor emphasized by prosecutors and civil parties is the victim's physical and psychological fragility, who, instead of help, was given cocaine . The Prosecutor's Office has also cited several friends and the entrepreneur's ex-partner, Rosa Maria Elvo, as witnesses.

Ragnedda, represented by criminal lawyers Luca Montella and Gabriele Satta, claims he fired in self-defense after being attacked and stabbed himself. Among the witnesses cited by the defense are several law enforcement officials who knew and frequented the Arzachena businessman.
