Caught by video surveillance cameras, two young people, believed to be responsible for the acts of vandalism committed on October 26 in the city centre of Ittiri, were identified by the local police and reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari.

The two boys had targeted road signs, vertical signs and benches . They had gone on a rampage during the night along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, scattering waste everywhere and destroying street furniture, including those placed by commercial businesses. A concrete bench with a wooden seat had been devastated. The metal and concrete waste bins, anchored to the ground, had also been torn down , public and private furniture had been damaged, umbrellas and chairs had been thrown to the ground. They had left clear signs of vandalism along the main road. Where it had not been possible to dismantle the bins, the vandals had knocked them down and thrown them to the ground.

Scenes of hooliganism captured by cameras. The local police had started working to view the images from the video surveillance system, installed near the town hall, an investigative activity that allowed them to identify the two perpetrators.
