A tragic road accident on the 195 in Pula, on August 6, 2018, had been fatal to the thirty-one year old Christian Urru . It had been a Fiat Idea that had turned left to enter a petrol station, cutting off the young man who was proceeding in the opposite direction on his motorbike. A clear dynamic, reconstructed by the Court of Cagliari, within which new details have emerged: the dotted line, which allowed the driver to maneuver, should have been continuous .

The reality of the facts would emerge from the analysis of Google Earth images : the paint would have been clumsily erased , only to be restored after the tragedy: «That section of the SS 195», explains the consultant, «is the subject of particular attention to horizontal signs, especially for the double center line, which undergoes constant, inexplicable and irregular changes , which, even if it were, should still have been authorized by the competent bodies, which is not the case".

Furthermore, the owner of the distributor had repeatedly requested that the line become dotted, to allow a greater flow to her business, receiving the Prefecture's refusal several times . Nevertheless, she has always declared herself extraneous to tampering. Who is responsible remains a mystery, but the public prosecutor's office established that Anas should have checked that it didn't happen : for this reason, judge Giorgio Altieri sent two officials to trial, Enrico Atzeni (at the time responsible for the of Cagliari) and the center manager Carmine Ferrara.

According to the Public Prosecutor, in fact, the discrepancy in the hatch "was not detected due to the negligent and imperative behavior, omission of any control , of the two officials responsible for Anas, who failed to prepare and place the project at the disposal of the successful tenderer executive, to provide the dutiful and specific directives on carrying out the works and failed, not only during the testing phase of the works but also during the ordinary activity, to verify the correctness of the horizontal signs ».
