Giovannino Pinna is not in the social media process and all those who have been insulting him on Facebook in recent weeks , threatening and convicting him for the death of his cousin Davide Calvia for defamation .

The 35-year-old from Sassari, accused of manslaughter, culpable shipwreck and boat theft after the boat accident in the Gulf of Asinara in which Calvia died last April 12, said enough. Assisted by the lawyer Luca Barrocu, together with his father he presented himself to the postal police of Sassari and filed a complaint against unknown persons. People, who often hide behind an alias, who reproach him for not telling the truth about what happened, for keeping silent for convenience and therefore for being responsible for Calvia's death.

The young man wants to defend himself not only from defamation, but also from threats, and is afraid for his own safety and that of his family. Among the posts of the "Together for Davide Calvia" group, created to remember the victim of the accident being investigated by the Sassari public prosecutor's office, photos were also published showing Pinna sitting at a table in a bar, together with his minor son and with some friends.

THE STORY – On 12 April he and his cousin Davide were going on a sport fishing trip in wetsuits in the stretch of sea between Stintino and Porto Torres. In the afternoon, as their boat sank, they launched the SOS and then disappeared into the sea . Pinna was found 24 hours later on a beach in Marina di Sorso, in critical condition . Calvia's body, on the other hand, was recovered on 22 April in a cove near Castelsardo.

The autopsy on his body revealed the presence of multiple traumas, but the doctors have no certainty about the origin and the Public Prosecutor's Office is waiting for the final report . Meanwhile Pinna, questioned in recent days by prosecutor Lara Senatore, has made use of the option not to answer.
