Settimo San Pietro weeps Edmondo Pilleri, the "grandfather of the town"

Condolences to Settimo San Pietro for the death of the town's grandfather, Edmondo Pilleri, who had turned 101 years old last April .

Pilleri was a well-known and respected person: he lived in the cult of family and work. He has been a farmer since he was a boy and for many years he was also captain of the town's barracellar Company.

He was married to Anna Musiu, who died a few years ago. Two children, Francesco and Sandro.

The condolences for the disappearance of the grandfather was expressed on behalf of the whole population also by the mayor Gigi Puddu, who in April had gone to his grandfather to celebrate his 101st birthday.
