He goes looking for asparagus and finds weapons: it happened in the countryside of Sestu, in the “Sa matta manna” area. A 65-year-old local, retired and with a clean record, during a walk in search of asparagus, found on a canal an artisanal joint-barreled shotgun (shotgun), a 12-gauge shotgun brand Benelli, a semi-automatic shotgun brand Browning 12 gauge and a 9 caliber rifle brand Marocchi - Flobert model.

The four weapons, in good condition of use and maintenance, were found to be of stealth origin as they were stolen from Assemini on 23 July, as emerges from a complaint filed at the local Carabinieri station. The rightful owner will then be able to recover all the guns stolen that night. Probably the weapons had been hidden in that place waiting to be later used or sold.
