A 71-year-old pensioner, Paolo Boi, from Siurgus Donigala, died in a road accident that occurred this morning around 7:30 a.m. on a municipal road in the town.

According to initial investigations, the car he was traveling in overturned for reasons yet to be determined, and the driver suffered injuries that proved fatal.

Unfortunately, the assistance provided by the 118 operators was in vain.

The ones who called them were worried because Boi hadn't returned home.
