The municipal administration of Senorbì, first with a resolution of the Council and then in the Council, approved the new regulation for the regulation of the video surveillance system, essential to be able to examine the images of the cameras installed in the inhabited center of Senorbì and in the Arixi hamlets and Sisini. The regulation governs in detail the methods of use of the Big Brother, in full respect of the privacy of the people under observation by the cameras purchased by the Municipality with an investment of over 180 thousand euros.

A total of thirty cameras were installed in the points considered most at risk due to the threat of vandals and rude people: in the square of the parish church of Santa Barbara, in Piazza Italia (near the elementary school) and in Piazza Padre Pio, on the outskirts of the town towards Sant'Andrea Frius. Meanwhile, the project for the video surveillance of the Santa Mariedda park, often mistaken for a picnic area and therefore defaced by waste, is being studied.

The City Council, convened by the mayor Alessandro Pireddu, also approved the regulation for the discipline of the patrimonial rent for the occupation of public land.
