At the eighth edition of Milano Wine Week, the prestigious event dedicated to consumers, professionals, and wine lovers held recently in the Lombardy capital, Senorbì sommelier Raffaele Porceddu was selected among the top 100 sommeliers in Italian restaurants. For the third consecutive year, Trexenta has represented the event, created by Paolo Porfido and Federico Gordini. "This experience has inspired me to continue this extraordinary adventure in the world of high-end winemaking," commented Porceddu, manager of Angelini Wine Estates (the winery affiliated with Angelini Farma).

His is a story of success achieved through talent and perseverance: as a boy, he learned about the island's grape varieties harvesting in the fields of Senorbì with his father and brothers. He then developed a passion for wine through study and meeting producers in the picturesque vineyards of Italy and Europe. "Being a winemaker means dealing with an international clientele every day," he concludes. "For me, it's also an opportunity to promote Sardinia's excellence."

The various awards he has received, among other things, earned him a special mention ("he has masterfully transformed one of his greatest passions into a profession") in the book "Senorbì: arts, crafts and professions," published by the Municipality to honor the citizens who have made it.
