Six months of imprisonment, yesterday in court in Sassari, for a forty-nine-year-old from Sennori protagonist of an action out of the ordinary. In 2023 the man, who had a house arrest to respect at certain times, goes by bicycle to Sennori from Sorso, where he lived, to visit some friends.

Having stopped at the bar, and aided by the consumption of some alcohol, he loses track of time and realizes that he is about to violate the measure. So he thinks well, perhaps because with the bicycle he could never be fast enough, to steal a car to get there faster . However, it is not just any vehicle but one belonging to the municipal fleet that the Sennorese manages to start somehow to get away in the direction of Sorso. But when he is about to arrive he realizes that he has forgotten about the bicycle and so goes back to get it.

He finally arrives home where his sleep is short-lived, because in a short time the police show up - who had had no trouble identifying the perpetrator of the theft - claiming the missing car . The forty-nine-year-old had put it under a tarp because, so he argues, it was a public good and had to be preserved. In court, defended by the lawyer Simone Pisano, he will then apologize for the gesture, justifying it with the fact that it was raining that evening and he was on a bicycle. Judge Antonietta Pintore finally ordered the aforementioned sentence.
