Tempio's investigating judge, Marcella Pinna, issued a drastic dismissal order in the investigation into the murder of Cinzia Pinna. The magistrate, granting the requests of prosecutor Noemi Mancini and the defense, cleared Emanuele Ragnedda's ex-partner, Rosa Maria Elvo , and Luca Franciosi , an acquaintance of the Arzachena businessman who confessed to the crime, of all responsibility.

Elvo and Franciosi were initially accused of aiding Ragnedda after the murder of Cinzia Pinna, which occurred in Conca Entosa (Palau) on September 12th last year. The case of Rosa Maria Elvo, accused of cleaning the murder room with Ragnedda, is particularly serious. The investigation immediately revealed the complete groundlessness of the aiding and abetting charge .

Rosa Maria Elvo did not participate in any phase of the murder or in any subsequent events . According to tests on her computer and telephones, the woman did not make any arrangements with Ragnedda to help him; on the contrary, she collaborated with investigators to unlock her ex-partner's computer.

Elvo, defended by the lawyer Francesco Furnari, was forced to change her lifestyle due to the violent attacks on social media following the investigation .

Luca Franciosi , defended by lawyers Maurizio and Nicoletta Mani, also appears to be the victim of a very serious slander , according to the dismissal documents. The man was placed in the villa in Conca Entosa in the hours following the crime, when in fact he was somewhere else entirely. Furthermore, it has been definitively ruled out that he helped move the victim's body.

Franciosi's lawyers have announced action against Emanuele Ragnedda.
