The Anteas association's "Suspended Cake" initiative returns to Quartu.

Each month, pastry chefs Nicola Loi and his wife Michela Auriemma will donate a cake for a special occasion, be it a birthday, a wedding, or another anniversary. Simply let the association know of the vulnerable or vulnerable person you'd like to give it to and tell them their story. The pastry chefs and volunteers will then deliver the welcome surprise.

"Following the success of the previous edition," explains Anteas President Doriana Loddo, "we are ready to accommodate many more people who want to give a moment of joy to those who are experiencing difficult situations. We thank pastry chefs Nicola Loi and his wife once again for this collaboration."

Among the lucky ones who received the suspended cake in recent months was a mother who took the cake to the cemetery in front of the grave of her unborn child. To meet the needs of vulnerable people, Anteas also offers a solidarity taxi service. Simply call to book transportation to hospitals and clinics for medical appointments or to run errands. The service is primarily aimed at the elderly and disabled.
