In Selargius, the municipal administration has set up a task force to combat littering.

Local police commander Marco Cantori reviews the work carried out over the past three months: "We've inspected illegal dumps throughout the Selargius area and, thanks also to the use of surveillance cameras, we've identified and reported 27 people to the judicial authorities in three months."

The work continues: local police officers are examining another hundred videos that will allow us to identify the "uncivilized" offenders: "Thanks also to the results achieved so far, the municipal administration of Selargius will strengthen its surveillance by installing new cameras."
