He always wanted to become a farmer. «And a breeder», adds Sebastiano, who lives with his family in the Nuorese area: «My dream, ever since I was a child. I wanted to carry on the family business». Freshly of age, he turned 18 last January: now fate has forced him to accelerate.

The family business, which he intended to take over once he finished his studies, needs a new guide. The father, still young, 50 years old, fell ill and can no longer carry on with the rhythms of the countryside. Seb decided that his time had come, making the most difficult choice: leaving school to replace his father . He will conclude the path as a privatist.

After all, it's not the first time he's had to deal with sudden changes of direction: his own stormy past , personal problems and road accidents that forced him to miss a few years of school. He is a second year student at the Nuoro Agricultural Institute and last year, in Rome, he snatched an exceptional third place in the national phase of the team mathematics Olympiad . One of the best memories, which he will carry with him in the new adventure that awaits him.

He enrolled in the Chamber of Commerce and officially became a young farmer . But now, to make his dream come true, he needs a hand. There are many expenses to be incurred, but to start the work he would need the money necessary at least to buy building materials and clean the olive groves. Later, he will proceed by rebuilding the country road and the canals. The Anas social network has created a fundraiser to help Seb: the goal is twenty thousand euros.

«My friends are happy», he says, «they support me and believe in me». To start again, that's already a lot. But Seb knows how to do it. He's done this before.
