The mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, can return to his villa in Golfo Aranci (in Gallura), which was seized a year ago by the Tempio Pausania court following an investigation into alleged building abuses.

The house remains under seizure, but Nizzi can reuse the building from which he was ordered to be cleared at the beginning of last summer.

The news was confirmed to Ansa by the defense.

According to the investigation of the Prosecutor's Office, various urban planning violations were carried out in the villa of Torre Terrata , including the transformation of the basement into a habitable room, without the necessary authorizations. Now the Court has accepted the request of the lawyer Pietro Carzedda and has returned the use of the villa to the mayor.

The criminal investigation proceeds its course: with Nizzi the entrepreneur Luigi Guerri, the site manager, Giovanni Antonio Spano, the designer Giorgio Derosas, the manager of the Municipality of Golfo Aranci, Dino Puggioni, are investigated for the alleged building abuses, and the architect Sandra Deiana.
