Luisa Leoni , Martina Seu , Denisa Rodovei , IV B, and Maila Mariano , III B, are the four students of the scientific high school "L.Mossa" ( Olbia ) who won, for Sardinia, the Asimov 2023 prize for scientific publishing . held at the Liceo Michelangelo in Cagliari on 6 May.

The students from Olbia have obtained the important recognition of national level , now in its eighth edition, for the excellent work done on the book by Antonello Provenzale " Crocodiles at the North Pole and ice at the equator " which explains, in detail, how it behaves the planetary climate machine .

Supported by the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and by numerous other scientific realities, the Award was established by the Gran Sasso Science Institute of L'Aquila and is a recognition reserved for particularly deserving dissemination and scientific non-fiction works with the aim of bringing new generations to scientific culture, through the critical reading and evaluation of the finalist works. It features both the authors of the competing works and thousands of Italian students, who decree the winner with their votes and their reviews, which are in turn evaluated and awarded.
