Emergency landings in Sulcis: aided by the weather, 260 migrants arrived in just a few hours, exacerbating the problems at the overcrowded reception center in Monastir, as reported by police unions. Chaos also gripped Olbia: many migrants are camping at the port waiting to depart, but most, due to inadequate documentation, remain effectively stranded. Volunteers and Caritas are also mobilizing on Isola Bianca to deliver meals and clothing for one hundred people.
