A scary and excited chase on the streets of the industrial area of Sassari ended with the reporting of two young people, one of whom was a minor, who were later found in possession of objects and tools suitable for burglary.

It all started when a State Police patrol noticed a suspicious vehicle and decided to start an inspection. The driver, however, instead of stopping, accelerated, trying to escape.

At that point the officers got behind him, also alerting other patrols. The fleeing car, however, did not stop and continued to travel along the roads of the industrial area at high speed, with maneuvers at the limit, also putting the safety of other road users at risk.

Eventually, the fleeing vehicle crashed into a dry stone wall and the two occupants fled on foot.

The officers, however, managed to track them down, hidden in a bush , taking them to the Command offices for identification.

It concerns a 23-year-old and a boy not even 18 years old, from whom altered keys, lock picks, a crowbar, screwdrivers, pliers and brass knuckles were seized.

Both were reported to the judicial authorities.
