Chase in the historic center of Sassari.

Local police stopped a car—a red Alfa Romeo—which suddenly went into reverse, hitting another car. The red Alfa then continued to speed through the alleys until officers stopped it and arrested the driver.

The suspect is believed to be from Sassari, and was later taken to the Carlo Felice headquarters. The possibility that a gun was inside the car is being investigated.
