Tremendous accident around 1pm on state road 196 at the junction for Villacidro.
Due to a rear-end collision with a van, a Renault Clio rolled off the road and overturned. On board two Italian tourists aged 61 and 16, mother and daughter, were seriously injured.
The two women were hardly extracted from their Renault Clio reduced to a pile of metal sheets and transported to the Cagliari polyclinic and Brotzu hospital in red code.
The carabinieri of the Villacidro company intervened on the spot for the reliefs useful to clarify the exact dynamics of the incident and the responsibilities.
