Saying yes in front of the sea, immersed in the nature of Sinis, is becoming more and more popular. This morning, in the seaside village of San Giovanni di Sinis, the Municipality of Cabras celebrated yet another wedding on the beach, a few meters from the crystal clear sea.

For the first time, the councilor for Social Policies Laura Celletti united the two spouses, wearing the tricolor sash. The wedding took place where the dome is located. This time too, tourists curious to witness the ritual are inevitable.

This is the seventh wedding celebrated during the summer season. In these months, both couples residing in Cabras but also people who live elsewhere but who love the Sinis area have sworn eternal love. There are those who arrived from Cagliari, Trento and Barcelona.

The weddings were celebrated in San Giovanni di Sinis, Is Arutas, Mari Ermi, Isthmus but also in the village of San Salvatore.

“The numerous requests received again this year demonstrate that couples have been waiting for a long time to be able to celebrate weddings and civil unions in our territory - comments Alessandra Pinna, deputy mayor, the one who dealt with the regulation of weddings outside the Municipality headquarters - That that we offer is not just a service, it is the opportunity to experience an unforgettable day in the places of your heart. It makes us proud that couples from other parts are also choosing Cabras, this can only have positive effects both on the area from an economic point of view but also and above all for the diffusion of our environmental and cultural heritage".

A yes that obviously comes with a price. Rates vary depending on the location chosen.

For the celebration in San Giovanni di Sinis, Maimoni and Mari Ermi, for example, starting from 750 euros during service hours and if at least one of the two spouses is resident in Cabras up to a maximum of 1,500 euros for non-residents who choose outside of scheduled hours or on weekends.

For those who choose to get married in Is Arutas, the rate varies between 900 and 1,800 euros. The celebration in the village of San Salvatore starts from a minimum of 300 euros and reaches a maximum of 800, always taking into account the variables linked to residence and office service hours.
