A narrow, two-way and very busy municipal road via San Pietro di Ottava. It is located in Sassari, not far from the large Li Punti district, on the northern outskirts of the capital. For months it has been targeted by the usual rude and uncivilized people who create illegal public landfills where any type of waste is abandoned.

Sometimes the municipal administration intervened, sometimes even some residents cleaned the landfills, disposing of the material with the help of motor-wheelchairs at the nearest eco-center.

After a few days, however, the rude ones get back to work and the result is the new illegal landfill set up near the Salesian center. The municipal administration will soon clean up the section and dispose of waste.

Residents are asking for more. "We know it's not easy - they say in chorus - but we need to increase both prevention and vigilance. This situation has been dragging on for too long."
