He had been living in Piazza d'Italia in Sassari for days, washing himself with bottled water and frightening passers-by: he climbed the monument in the center of the square and shouted "Allah akbar" at the top of his lungs.

The young man, a 21-year-old foreigner, was taken to the Bancali prison by the local police, as ordered by the judge, at the request of the prosecutor Angelo Beccu.

The first intervention by the local police dates back to July 17, the day on which the man was identified and he was notified of the removal order, as required by the urban police regulation. A few hours later he retraced his steps; from this moment, eight times, the agents have again removed him with as many formal measures.

On Saturday morning the boy, who had not been particularly violent up to that moment, threw himself at the officers with fists and elbows, so much so as to force them to resort to health care. Then he was arrested.

On Monday morning, in the validation hearing, Judge Antonio Pietro Spanu validated the arrest by ordering not only a ban on approaching Piazza d'Italia but also the obligation to sign twice a day (never respected) in the offices of the Command of Local Police . Less than an hour later, the 21-year-old returned to what he now considered his home.

The local police command reported the violation of the precautionary measures to the judicial authority. And the judge, at the request of the prosecutor Angelo Beccu, ordered the aggravation of the precautionary measure with the transfer to the Bancali prison.
