Sassari, two cars burned: possible malicious origin

Two cars burned last night in Viale Trieste in Sassari. A Renegade and a small car, around 10:40 pm yesterday, were destroyed by the fire at the height of the newsstand and shops in the area. The firefighters intervened on site and put out the flames, and an ambulance from 118.

The cars suffered significant damage , with their interiors destroyed and consumed by fire. The nature of the fire could be malicious but has yet to be determined by law enforcement.

The area apparently has several cameras that could shed light on the dynamics of what happened.
