All eight defendants in Sassari were acquitted in the "Onde Delta" case, accused of having founded and been part of an alleged psycho-sect. The acquittal arrived at the Court of Appeal with the formula "because the fact does not exist".

The requests formulated by the General Prosecutor's Office and the defense panel were accepted, with the judges thus putting an end to a judicial case that began in 2015, at the end of an investigation by the Financial Police and the State Police in 2013.

According to the accusatory hypothesis, the alleged sect had its main headquarters in Sardinia and the Marche with ramifications in other parts of Italy and abroad and spread a technique called "Vibration at the Delta level", promoted through seminars during which the accused would illegally exercised the profession of psychologist, psychotherapist and doctor.

On 27 February the Court of Nuoro dismissed the accusation of criminal association for all, but sentenced Lucia Dettori, architect from Orgosolo, and Luigi Franceschini, from Pesaro, respectively, to 8 years and 6 months for abusive practice of the profession.

This accusation was also dropped on appeal and the two were acquitted together with the other six defendants: Pasqualina and Michela Dettori, Christian Cesaroni from Urbino, Angela Golosio from Mamoiada, Marta Pasqualin from Treviso, and Stefania Seddone from Nuoro.
