Fire in the Nuoro area, helicopters and Canadairs in flight: 131 DCN closed towards Olbia
Homes threatened by flames, extinguishing operations complicated by strong mistral winds

Fire in Orune , in the Marreri area, where the flames have attacked the vegetation and are threatening some country homes.
The fire , driven by a mistral wind, crossed the 131 DCN highway at the 60th kilometer marker , complicating extinguishing operations due to the burning reeds. The road was closed to traffic due to smoke in the direction of Olbia.
Two helicopters, a Super Puma and a Canadair from Olbia, were deployed to put out the flames. Personnel from the Forestry Corps, Fire Brigade, Forestas, and Civil Protection were also involved.
The firefighting operations , coordinated by the Provincial Fire Brigade Operations Room, are focusing on protecting homes.
