A revolt. In every respect. Without distinction, without rifts, without nuance: those eleven two-hundred-meter turbines, in an agricultural area between Isili and Villanova Tulo, seven on each side and four on each, no one in the Sarcidano area wants them.

Protests are fierce, with each of the two administrations trying to sew together the opposition's fabric.

"The project has no benefits for the community," thundered Mayor Luca Pilia from Isili, who has called a civic assembly to discuss the issue on September 2nd . Yesterday, however, in the Villanova Tullo council chamber, residents gathered until the evening to sign their comments on the 68.42-megawatt wind farm.

Scs 20, a limited liability company from Monopoli, Bari , is taking over the Sarcidano countryside, nestled between Barbagia and Marmilla. From Puglia to Sardinia, they're " producing energy that our region certainly doesn't need ."

Yesterday in Villanova Tulo, there were over a hundred protests against "the ecological transition, which is increasingly just speculation." Activists from the Sarcidano Committee also participated in the spontaneous collective action.
