Punches, kicks, insults and garbage. A 58-year-old was sentenced yesterday in court in Sassari to one year and 8 months for the crimes of private violence and injuries as requalified by judge Claudia Sechi.
According to the accusations, the man, from Sassari, allegedly insulted his ex-wife in the capital of Sassari in 2020 with disrespectful epithets and also addressed death threats such as "I'll kill you, I'll burn down your house".
The defendant also allegedly continuously emptied the woman's closet drawers, spreading clothes on the bed and then covering them with garbage.
In addition to the sentence, the judge ordered that the defendant follow a specific recovery course to prevent him from committing further violence. The lawyer Guido Rimini defended the man, while the civil party lawyer was Stefano Porcu.
