Thieves unleashed last night in Sassari, with two break-ins in the space of a few hours. The gang, around 4 in the morning, destroyed one of the windows of the Apple in Piazza Castello in Sassari. A job apparently done by professionals.

It seems to have different characteristics compared to other petty crime episodes that occurred in the historic center. The thieves broke the window with a car, perhaps stolen, taking, it would seem, several cell phones. Their faces were covered and they acted very quickly. The Carabinieri and the forensic team were on site.

That same night, another business in the industrial area was also robbed. The usual suspects also entered the Black Stone restaurant in Predda Niedda. They smashed the entrance glass with a sledgehammer, taking the cash register. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident, which could be related to the one in Piazza Castello. In the last two weeks, thefts in commercial businesses in the historic center have multiplied in Sassari, but now the thieves' attention is shifting to the outskirts of the city.
