Two men arrested by the Carabinieri yesterday in via Padre Zirano in Sassari for aggravated robbery and assault.

The military of the Arma rescued a person who reported that he had been approached by two strangers who, with the excuse of receiving a cigarette, had beaten him with kicks and punches. The couple had also sprayed pepper spray in his face and then ran away after stealing the young man's cell phone and wallet with 75 euros.

The Carabinieri, having received the description of the two, stopped two people in the historic center who were in possession of pepper spray and balaclavas. Arrested by the military, they were taken to the Bancali prison.
