Theft of cash from the cash register in the “Crema e Quello” pastry shop in via Pala di Carru in the Li Punti neighborhood of Sassari.

Last night, shortly before three, some people broke the shatterproof glass and entered the pastry shop.

"They took away - explains the owner, Caterina Migheli - about 150 euros". A small loss, but the damage to the glass was huge, costing over a thousand euros.

"We are afraid to go to work - Caterina continues -, since we start early in the morning and in the area there are drug addicts and people who sleep on the floor. They have also committed thefts in nearby businesses".

The shopkeepers turned to the Municipality complaining about the lack of safety in the area. "Moreover, we had also suffered the gazebo fire some time ago. That was an act of vandalism, this time it was not." Also hit later, among other things, was the H24 located next to the "Crema e Quello", where a machine was broken into.

The State Police is investigating what happened and may use the cameras in the area to identify those responsible.
