One of the most suggestive corners of Sassari. Very central. Worse than a ruin. The stairway in via Satta Branca is an example of the abandonment of one of the historic places in the capital. Which, instead of being preserved and valued, is left to rot: dirty, surrounded by brushwood (which would be easy to eradicate) and above all with the large tuff bases that have even fallen to the ground to hinder the traffic of appalled pedestrians.

Resignation prevails among the residents. «Too many times we have uselessly denounced the state of the staircase to the institutions. Nothing to do » they say in chorus. In the meantime, the situation is getting worse day by day, hand in hand with that of the historic centre, once the beating heart of Sassari, but for years in inexorable decline and ruin.
