Exciting Via Crucis yesterday in Sassari. Hundreds of people followed the procession that started from the church of the Holy Trinity, and continued along the streets of the historic center. Then the religious procession continued with the various stations until reaching the cathedral of San Nicola where the archbishop, Monsignor Gian Franco Saba, gave the blessing.

"Let yourselves be reconciled with Christ - these are some of the words of the prelate - He is our peace and our Easter. Let us invoke the gift of Christ's peace".

The crowd then moved to the nearby church of San Giacomo, home of the brotherhood of Orazione e morte, for a moment of prayer before continuing the procession until the return to the church of the Santissima Trinità, with the deposition of the Dead Christ - S'Iscravamentu.
