Sassari: sexual abuse of minor children, parents sentenced to six years on appeal

The conviction for two parents accused of sexual violence against their children was confirmed in the Court of Appeal in Sassari.

The panel reiterated the first degree sentence, decreeing a six-year prison sentence for the man and six years and six months for the woman . According to the charges, between 2006 and 2008, the two forced their children, both minors, to undergo sexual acts, abusing their inferior status .

The two defendants, defended by the lawyers Marco Palmieri and Elisabetta Udassi, were also sentenced to compensation for the civil parties by the judges who established a provisional amount of 6 thousand euros .
