Twenty years of imprisonment. This is the request of the prosecutor Lara Senatore, today in court in Sassari in an abbreviated trial, against Antonio Luigi Fiori, 49, accused of the murder of the seventy-eight-year-old Nicola Pasquarelli, beaten to death and then charred in the pine forest of Piandanna in front of the Ecological Center in August 2023.

The evidence collected against the accused is based in part on the testimony of Aurora Addis, who had the pensioner's body found and indicated Fiori as the perpetrator of the murder . An act committed within a context of extreme degradation due to drug addiction and caused, this is the hypothesis, by the jealousy of the forty-nine-year-old. The civil parties, Pasquarelli's wife and children, have constituted themselves as civil parties and are assisted by the lawyers Michele Galia, Vittorio Delogu and Gianni Emilio Censori, who have joined the requests of the prosecutor.

According to defense attorney Marco Palmieri, Addis, who has since died, accused Fiori to cover up other people . The preliminary hearing judge Sergio De Luca adjourned the case to December for replies and sentencing.
